Hey everyone,
I’ve been exploring ways to break into the field of data science, and like many others, I started searching for data science online courses free to get a feel for the basics before investing in anything paid.
Recently, I came across this free course by Pickl.ai — it covers Python, machine learning fundamentals, and real-world case studies. What stood out to me was that it felt structured and beginner-friendly, even though it's free.
Now I’m curious:
Has anyone here started their data science journey through free courses?
Are they actually good for building a strong foundation, or do you eventually hit a wall and need to switch to paid programs?
Also, how important are real-world projects or internships when applying for entry-level roles?
Would love to hear your thoughts or recommendations for other quality free resources too!
